8th Annual Tour

Each year for the past 7 years, the generous people of 30 Rue Victoria have put together a charity bike ride event to raise money for the Government of Canada Workplace Charitable Campaign (GCWCC). Together with volunteers and sponsors, Tour 30 Victoria has raised over $19,000 to date!

The GCWCC is the largest and most generous workplace campaign in Canada and takes place annually between September and December. Last year employees and retirees donated an incredible $28 million.

This year we will Walk, Run, Ride and Roll together starting at our launching event on September 10th at 30 Victoria. Consider joining up with coworkers to participate as a team!

You can even do it around the block and have a challenge within your team of how many times you can go around the block.

How to get involved

Participating in a group or Solo

Tour 30 Victoria started at our office building in Gatineau before the pandemic. It has now evolved and become an event that can occur all over the city. We will be cycling, running, walking, or rolling using any eco-friendly means of transportation starting on Sept 10th at 30 Victoria.

Participation Options

We appreciate a donation of $30; however, donate as little or as much as you want to show your support – every dollar counts. A tax receipt will be provided for all donations of $20 or more.

Attract 100 walkers, runners, and cyclists from among the employees at 30 Victoria and their friends and family.

Questions and Answers

When will the event take place?

The event will take place from September 10th till September 30th.

Is there a deadline to register or donate?

Registrations and donations will be accepted until the last day of the event (September 30th) at 12 p.m.

Where will the event take place?

You can choose your own route and schedule a meeting with your bike. We encourage you to invite fellow participants to join you. We invite to join us in person on Sept 10th at 30 Victoria for the launch of the event at 10:30.

Will there be prize draws?

Our sponsors will provide prizes that will be drawn at the end of the event. Prizes from Bushtukah, CoqLicorne, Le Cellier, Fresh Air Experience, and Piz’za-za will be up for grabs.

Who is the event coordinator?

Elections Canada has been the primary coordinator of the event since its creation in 2017
